Prehab for Neck Surgery

The Prehab for Neck Surgery video library consists of 3 levels of neutral spine conditioning designed to restore your ability to perform daily tasks from healthy posture. This positions you for the best clinical outcome by reducing the amount of stress subjected to your neck post-surgically.
Perform level 1 workout for 1 week. When you can can perform 8 repetitions of each exercise without losing neutral spine alignment it is time to progress to the level 2 workout. Perform level 2 workouts for 2 weeks, progress to level 3 when you can perform 8 perfect repetitions of each exercise. Level 3 requires 3 weeks of conditioning. This program is best started 6 weeks prior to your procedure. It is best paired with weekly tele-PT coaching sessions.
A general rule for knowing if you are performing an exercise from neutral spine alignment is you should feel your core and upper back muscles working throughout the movement. Schedule a Tele-PT Consult if you are not sure if you are performing all exercises from neutral spine alignment.
